In this regular section I will be recommending random songs that I really like or think are at least worthy of a listen. My goal is to showcase both new and classic songs that are new to Harper Metal News readers, or are at least songs that you may not have checked out for awhile.
My first song recommendation is "Desert Plains" by the veteran metal band Judas Priest from their classic 1981 album "Point of Entry". "Desert Plains" is one of my all time favorite Judas Priest songs. Rob Halford's vocals really shine on this track, and I absolutely love the guitar riffs too! Check it out at the YouTube link below:
